Every year we try to get in a group night run to test out our equipment and get somewhat accustomed to night running. We typically run out close to Jefferson on some dirt roads due to the lack of street lights but this year we are heading closer to town to run around a prison. Luckily there will still be no street lights and we figured running by a prison can mimic the scary night feeling you get running all alone in the middle of the Blue Ridge Mountains at 3 in the morning.

But Hamilton Mill will have street lights. And sidewalks. And all the luxuries of being in town…heck, even Wendy’s and McDonalds competing for our business afterwards.
